Rooms are being renovated and have hard floors which is a huge plus when you have pets
No ice. No telephone. No Kleenex. Under construction with no advance notice. No breakfast. A/C worked. Nothing lower than 1 star.
I checked in with a very pleasant clerk. Got to my room and went to shower. The wash cloths had pubic hairs on them. Not using those...was tired and not wanting to deal with anything so I simply started a laundry pile. At check out, I encountered the extremely unfriendly mirning desk clerk. She asked, "where's your key" ...I started that as usual, I left it in the room. She informed me that she doesn't like that...I then asked if I could get a receipt. She printed one and I noticed that it shows that my card was charged twice. She looked at me and said, extremely defensive, "we aren't going to cheat you!!!" I told her that I simply didn't want to be billed two times for the same room for the same night. I monitored my account and yes I was billed twice. Still working to get that corrected after more than a week.
The mom and daughter that work the front desk are amazing. The hotel is clean and comfy when we stay. Thank y'all!
